For Charles Paraventi, acting is more than a profession—

it is a lifelong passion for storytelling and the craft of bringing characters to life on stage and screen.

A Life Dedicated to Performance

Where it all began

Charles Paraventi’s passion for performance began at a very young age. At just five years old, he was already performing magic shows in New York at a Brazilian club, with his mother always assisting him on stage.

Even as a child, he was drawn to theatre and storytelling, appearing in children’s plays and captivating audiences with his humor and natural charisma. These early experiences laid the foundation for a lifelong career in the performing arts.

THE BEGINNING

Developing the Actor

In the early 1990s, Charles pursued formal acting training at the prestigious Casa das Artes de Laranjeiras (CAL) in Rio de Janeiro. From 1991 to 1993, he dedicated himself to the study of theatre, refining the craft that would become the foundation of his career.

Following his training, he began performing in theatre productions, quickly gaining recognition for his versatility, sharp comedic timing, and his natural ability to engage audiences through both scripted and improvisational performance.
